Sick
Auughhh. I almost collapsed at work today. I started feeling sick in the afternoon and about an hour before we closed I had to go sit in the back to recover. Too bad it was while I was supposed to be handing a lady 800 bucks. My supervisors had to take over.

I think I was just dehydrated. It was really warm in the building today and I hadn't had much to drink. Aiiii. I really don't want to go back to work tomorrow but I know that I should.

i am wondering. At the bank, do they ever get suspicious if someone is dealing with large amounts of cash? Either depositing or taking it out?

also, I hope you feel better. working at a bank has got to suck!!! give me a call if you ever want to hang out, I am leaving at the end of the month so its now or never.

Yes, definitely. Anything over 10,000 dollars, and they have to fill out a government form called a Cash Transaction Report. It's to help track money to help prevent money-laundering and stuff. Eight hundred dollars is nothing, though. People come in all the time to cash 2,000 dollar paychecks and walk outside with that money just sitting in their pockets (or rubber-banded around their wallets, if they're especially classy).

On the whole it's not a bad job, though.

Where are you going? I will totally call you to hang out when I can walk in a straight line without getting dizzy.
